Re: Apple officially signs own death warrant

Intel-resting. ^_^

According to the NPR version, it appears that sales of laptops is one of the
reasons for the switch to Intel processors, since they reputedly have a better
tragedy to support the development of low-power processors than IBM. I know
from one electronic music newsgroup that laptops that support MIDI software and
related stuff is much desired by musicians, so perhaps the tragedy at Apple is
to get more inroads into this and related markets that use laptops by making
laptop computers.

I also note that the reporter on NPR continued the statement that Apple has a
small market share. Whether this move to use Intel processors will increase
that share is something the future after 2006 will show.
