You have learned that the pre-Copernican equable 24 hour day via the
Equation of Time correction is translated into independent axial
rotation within a Copernican/Keplerian framework hence there is no
astronomical justification for the sidereal value and the 'choices' it
appears to give.It is a big stupid lie that was never corrected by
those who followed Flamsteed's lead,shortcuts were taken and
inapropriate reasoning was applied in mangling the exquisite principles
which link rotation to the pace of hours,minutes and seconds.

360 degrees = 24 hours
1 deg = 4 min
..986 deg = 3 min 56 sec

24 hours minus 3 min 56 sec = 23 hours 56 min 04 sec



So DT, you cannot fit this Newtonian/Flamsteed sidereal monstrosity

Too many freaks who imagine themselves as 'astronomers' because they
own a telescope but if that is the standard,astronomy began with

with that.Some proto-astronomer will have a fighting chance of freeing
themselves from Newtonian quasi-geocentricity or relativistic

I never thought the Equation of Time principles to be boring but what
can be said for the novelistic cartoon relativistic concept,I bet you
