The Earth's independent axial rotation is a single event hence there is
only one value corresponding to that rotation through 360 degrees - 24
hours exactly.

Even if most of humanity is unfamiliar with the Equation of Time
principles which equalise the natural unequal day to the equable 24
hour day and subsequently isolate axial rotation as an independent
motion at a pace of 15 degrees per hour and 24 hours in total within a
Copernican/Keplerian heliocentric framework,they are at least correct
while theorists and cataloguers give themselves a choice they do not
have by way of the sidereal justification.

Destroy the relationship between axial and orbital motion as
Newton/Flamsteed did and astronomy is reduced to an exercise in
astrophotography and nothing else.The theorists know no better and the
cataloguers give themselves the title 'astronomer' while reducing that
noble discipline to a consumerist pursuit that begins and ends with a
telescope.The intents and purpose of astronomy is presenting the
magnificense of our participation in the scale and motion of celestial
objects and to dispel the illusions that everything is rotating about
us an the everything is moving away from us.The ultimate
anti-astronomical concept is the homocentric 'every point is the valid
center of the universe' because it celebrates the destruction of the
astronomical method which once give us the Copernican/Keplerian
heliocentric system.

There is much relying on the correct value for the axial rotation event
as an independent motion,cataloguers and theorists might not care for
their own selfish reasons but humanity is suffering for the loss of the
astronomical heritage.
