Hello again people.
I am afraid I have to bother some of you again, with this notion of eye relief. I am just not sure whether it applies to me or does it even matter when buying eyepieces?
First of all, if you do wear glasses, is it possible to adjust the picture that you are seeing if it's blurry (like that middle button in the binoculars)?
Second, I do wear glasses sometimes, since I am near sighted, but not that much at all. I just have trouble seeing minor details on things that are like 15 meters away, like name of the street I can't read them or something, but everything else is good. When I am on my comp, I usually don't put on glasses and so forth, so does that mean that I need to wear them to see the sky properly and therefore even buy the eyepieces with lots of eye relief or not?
Or, should I get eyepieces with lots of eye relieft in any case, with or without glasses. Sorry, I am just a little bit confused on this issue. Thank you again.
If you just wear glasses for distance or things that are up close, you'll probably be better off observing without your glasses and just focusing accordingly.
Folks who have problems with astigmatism aren't so lucky.
More eye relief is nice to a point. Some eyepieces have so much eye relief that I'm not comfortable using them.
