Hi Zarkovic, No, if you are either far sighted, or near sighted, and
from the description of your own personal eyes, you will not be needing
to wear your eyeglasses while at the eyepiece, so you won't be needing
to spend the additional $$$ to buy specialty long relief eyepieces if
you don't choose to. Standard Plossls/Orthos (or whatever) will do just
fine.
Only if your eyes were perhaps severly astigmatic, or if you had some
other rare wierd eye deficiency, then you would.
The only thing you will notice, and this is generally true with everyone
I've met, is that critical focus will need to be slightly tweaked when
you, and another observer(s) are looking through the same telescope.
Just like a Binocular, you'll be able to achieve pinpoint focus with any
eyepiece on the market, so it won't be an issue for you. Mark
