Exactly.
At the moment my #1 hobby is mountain biking, #2 is photography, and #3
(with a bullet) is astronomy. The bicycle magazines are disgusting in that
they rarely ever point out any negatives of the products they review.
Throughout the years they have all raved about new designs that end up not
lasting more than 2 or 3 model years. Camera reviews aren't quite as bad
since the magazines usually will point out what features are missing from a
given camera model.
When I read a review of a product I'm considering buying I want to know what
I might be getting myself into, especially if it's an area where I know
little, like telescopes.
