I have one of those pens in my camera bag, but I only use the brush end to
remove dust from my Topcon Super D lens, why? back in 94 when I got my Orion
DSE 12.5 and some EP's to go with it, I used the disk part on an EP ( Orion
17mm ) and that night I found that the coating had been damaged by the
cleaning disk of the pen. Still used that EP for many years, but it's image
was never really good. So I've never use that disk again, even on my camera
lens.
