I'd get a LensPen, if you can. Camera stores often carry them. If there
isn't one of these within easy driving distance, try ordering one
on-line. I don't clean my eyepieces very often, but when I do, the
LensPen works well.

Hi Brian, The principal I don't like about the Lens Pen, is that I
clean one smeared, or dirty Eyepiece with it, then I'm going to use this
now contaminated Lens Pen again, and again on another
Eyepiece-Eyepieces.
You'll find most renown "Eyepiece Junkies" won't use a lens pen.
The way I feel about this, is that it wouldn't bother me in the
slightest if I had to use a whole box of 320 Q-Tips to clean just one
eyepiece. It's worth it to me. (Yes I know I'm over-exaggerating)
Q-Tips or 100% Roll Cotton is relatively cheap.
Surprisingly, I don't use HPLC Grade Chemicals, but have thought of
buying, and using them countless times to not only clean Eyepieces, but
also Lenses, and Corrector Plates.
Perhaps for just run of the mill $30 Eyepieces, what you use is not so
critical, as if you ruin one it's no great loss, but some of my
eyepieces range anywhere from $200, to $500 apiece, and I'd like to
clean them without the possibility of incurring any damage to them.
