Re: decent Dobs today?



I got a dob from Orion, XT8 classic, pretty sweet scope for 350USD. Also to
note, for about 80 USD more I could have gotten XT8i where i stands for
intelliscope, which is like digital setting circles, to help you locate 14
000+ objects. But to actually locate those objects, you need a pad, which is
another 100 USD, mabye now 120 USD cauze the sale might be off now. Anyhow
check out www.telescope.com (Orion's official website) where they sell their
stuff and some stuff by competators such as Televue or Celestron. Also note
that you can get 10' and even 12' dobs from then and down the other end, 6'
and 4.5'. That's it good luck.
