Rosamond Report / Repair/Clean up started

The last two nights have been a tiny bit slow, but those
coming over where good ones to talk too. A lot where
asking about the MARS show later this month.
Helped one older lady see the moon from her wheelchair
early friday night.
Tonight before the moon came up was showing off Jupiter.
Then just about 30 mins before closing time tonight,
a white car sped pass and 3 raw eggs came flying out, I
had to pack up and get home fast, got a pan of hot water
with dish soap in it and totaly washed down the rockerbox,
I then had to remove one side of the OTA holder box, removed
the side with the baring on it and do a full wash of it and
carefully wash/wipe the inside of the ota box. I'm going to
leave it open and see if I can get a cheap can of spray paint and
paint the ota inside it. This deadlines the scope for a few days.
I was just luck I didn't have the scope facing west, the eggs would
have gone down the tube then. Oh ya, it was a buch of high
school aged punks in the car. To bad I didn't get a plate number
from the car.
