Your image of M31 inspired me the try it from my light polluted backyard.
But I didn't get as near as much detail as you did in yours. It was also

Nice pics and site. I like sites like this. I let you guys take all the pictures and I get to enjoy them without all the work. :-)
The distances to M101 and M51 are a bit off in the captions in your DSO gallery (those numbers sound more like the galaxy diameters).
