Here are some pics my friend took of the very impressive
Nov 7, 2004 display:

That was a very impressive display with just about every
color you can imagine visible. Very dynamic too, with whorls,
eddies, gyres, sheets. It was also a little intimidating.
I was worried I might get a tan if I spent too much time
watching.

Other than that most weak auroras are boring and just amount
to more skyglow and light pollution.
