In my contribution of September 8th (4th contribution) to this thread I
have mentioned that a discussion on how to define a planet really
should have its own thread with its own and appropriate thread title.
So following the suggestion of Brian Tung I have just opened a new
thread as a continuation of this thread in the newsgroup sci.astro
under the title "Toward a Rational Definition of what is a Planet".
Hope those guys will be able to handle it. If you feel like it, head
over.
