Washington, DC Metro Area Observing

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any observing sites in the DC
Metro area, or say within 30 minutes driving distance. I've recently
moved to the area, and looking forward to getting out this weekend. In
general, I'm looking for a quiet area where I can set up undisturbed,
with reasonable levels of light pollution (yeah, I AM in the DC area,
after all).

I've been glancing around the websites of local astronomy
organizations, and the Clear Sky Clock pages in the area, but since I
can't visit any of these places before the weekend (I like to have an
idea about a location before I go), I'd appreciate any input anyone
might have.
