We will easily survive either warming or another ice age. The problem is
the social, political, and economic disruption likely to accompany such
changes, especially when they happen over short time spans. There is
nothing bad about a green Greenland- unless you happen to live in a
brown Iowa!
As an American, I'm not worried. If it gets too hot and dry down here,
we have a very effective army that will make short work of the weak
country to our north- millions of square miles of cool, fertile country
just sitting there for the taking!
