Please accept my apology

I would enjoy carrying on the discussion a bit if we can keep the tone
level. I was just trying to report observation. I sincerely apologize if
I, no, because I got a bit testy. It was a very rough week---imagine, two
new 6" refractors and the best I could squeeze in was a few minutes of
twilight lunar observing! THAT'S a rough week!

I have seen though, with other scopes that my faster refractors seem to be
brighter. They do vary from OTA to OTA but I can only report on what I have
or have used.

May we continue? I'm particularly interested in the post about pushing the
optics one color to reduce aberration but at the expense of
sharpness---toward the blue or something to that effect?
