I appreciate all the replies I have received.
I wasn't expecting a miraculous view of Mars or anything, but I was
thinking that I'd at least see the red color. I'll config the telescope as
suggested and give it another try tonight. Worst case, the moon should be
nice to look at.
Would my telescope (450mm, f/4) work well with a 3x Barlow lens, or should
I just stick with a 2x? What about the kind that has multiple factors that
range from 2 to 3?
