Hi:
Actually, the scope will move when you press the direction key buttons
while it's tracking...just very slowly. This is mainly useful for
guiding photos. The 32X speed isn't very fast either--you won't go
zipping around the sky with it--but is good for centering objects. With
the drive on and no buttons pressed, yes, only the RA motor is running,
and it is tracking at the sidereal rate.
