Dead Time in Rosamond

Not much when on this past weekend. On Thursday I went to the corner and had
a few kids stop by, but within 2 hours I had to give up, clouds had moved
in.
Friday/Saturday had 65+MPH winds.
Set up Sunday by 5pm, and had 4 cars pull in and people get out and come
over to see Mars. A few others stopped too. Had to close up shop by 8:30, a
slight breeze came up and it was a COLD one, got to get my full winter gear
out now and some gloves on the 1st.
Today I went to the 99cent store in town ( not part of the big chain, just a
local little store ) to get a cheap packet of new bunji cords as my year old
ones where getting to lose to work any more. I told the lady what they where
for and she asked if I was the guy up at the corner, say yes, she said she
had never stopped because someone told her it cost $10.00 to view the stars.
Wish I knew who had said that. Told her I can't charge a fee as I'm on
public sidewalk. So maybe next week some might show up.
