Most polls that I have seen on this subject show that a majority of
Americans do not believe in evolution. Therefore, such statements as "
imposing their narrow religious viewpoint on the entire population of
the United States" would seem to be a reversal of the actual fact.
Science is a study of evidence as it exists and the results obtained
by that study. From what I've seen, evolutionists first begin with the
statement that "we know evolution is true" then try to prove it even
with a dearth of scientific data. This is religion, as was stated
earlier, not science.
