My first Telescope and post.

I found this group while looking for information on the Meade ETX-125
AT I just purchased.

I have not taken it out of the box yet and I feel after all I have read
on this group I made a mistake. I bought this for my kids and myself to
enjoy together. Was this a poor choice? I just wanted a Telescope that
was easy to setup and use so we would indeed use it and enjoy it as a
family. All coments welcome as well as any pointes and satisfied users
of this telescope (does anyone enjoy it?). I live in York, SC and I am
looking forward to viewing the skies as never before. I have fond
memoris as a kid going to Griffith Obv. and looking at the moon through
thier telescope and seeng the moon as I never saw it before or since. I
hope my kids are as excited as I am when they see this gift with out
the buyers rermorse. I also would like tips and help with solar
viewing.
