Go to the County/City/Town's tax assessors office, in person or online, if that is available, with the address of the Wayside and of FF and or Lot and Block #'s. You will get his name, his address, maybe the bank he uses, financing he had on the past and has on present business's and his home. FREE! This way you know a decent amount to sue the guy for. Why sue for $5,000 when you can sue for $500,000 or more?

Also remember, this is very important. DO NOT "slip and fall" on the ice cream thats on HIS sidewalk.
