I, for one, thank God for this decision. The purveyors of Intelligent
Design (I don't call ID "ignorance" because I have no way of knowing if
there is an Intelligent Designer at work) will continue to re-clothe
their dogma and pass it off as science, but America's courts will
continue to see through their transparent efforts.

But he's retreated into claiming that maybe species can't evolve across *orders* without intervention by an Intelligent Designer.... But this book still suffers from the same problem as his earlier books: Any time he makes a statement of the form "Science can never explain ", he runs the risk of being scooped by new advances in science. ... have a lot fewer problems of logic and epistemology-- *if* they abandoned the idea of an all-powerful God....
