It all depends on the age and type of car. Now take my Mad Max Machine
verson 0.1, I paid $300.00 for it, BUT, it's a wonder car, You Wonder what
keeps it going!, windows don't work, front windshild is cracked all the way
across, engine needs a overhual as I get at lest 20 miles per qt of oil and
far less of gas and I had to replace the stock 4bbl carb with a Holly 4bbl
carb made for this 318 engine and now it dies at idle but I could almost
outrun an F15 with that carb now, got to clean plugs at lest every 2 weeks.

Being a 1974 car, no smog test for it. Now if that same car was in prim
shape, painted and everything working, that price would have been closer to
$3,000 for it.
