Re: setting up a cheap wireless planetary imaging system?

Frank,

I control my telescope with a laptop which also controls an 'SBIG ST2000XM', Robo Focus,
an 'SBIG ST-V', occassionally a stellacam II, and runs TheSky6 software.
(I use the ST-V with a film camera or stellacam II in place of the ST2000XM at times).

The laptop is connected via wireless networking, and I use VNC software to
control it from inside the house. As for AVI files... sending those files live
over the network can be a bottlenet. I'd rather save locally to the laptop and
transfer it later. (Not a problem for the laptop since it has a 100 GB
of available disk space).
