Personally, I find it odd that you take the time just to be a wise ass.
I answered because I thought I knew. When I got home, I ran a model which
showed the object to apparently be outside the disk. But having observed
Andromeda and knowing that I cannot see all of it, the thought occurred to
me that it might look outside but be inside. And smart ass, it turns out
the answer isn't that clear. As M13 is outside but is also gravitationally
bound. It's jerky answers like yours that keep people out of astronomy.
