Re: Will Meade's new boss sell out to China?

Sure, people will line up to gawk at anything remotely interesting, even more so if it's free. We see the same big crowds at schools and other public viewing events. The parents of these kids are willing to bring them out. But there are few participants between the ages of 14 and 30.

We have not seen large turnouts for these events translate into new club members even though we hand out brochures, newsletters and other club information.

Well every club I know has a massive audience on public nights, kids all
over the
place. Ive handled 500+ under age 20 just spotting in for the club on
Friday nights
the last two summers when no public events were scheduled. So I guess no
"kids" are interested in amateur astronomy.... they are all small adults

kidoids?........... prekids? Little people!@
