What you are looking for is a mount that can be polar aligned. Typical
tracking accuracies are in the 30 arc-second range for lower end
mounts, up to 5s of arc-seconds for top quality mounts. This is several
orders of magnitude better than your specification of 1/10 the diameter
of the sun (which is 30 arc-minutes). If you only need a few minutes at
a time with the specified accuracy, you could make a darn-door tracker
for a few dollars.
So the question degenerates to "how much does your instrument weight?
and what kind of budget do you have to work with?"
