Venus dark side
Hi group; after many days of bad weather, I started again to image the
sky, and this time I wanna show you the image of Venus dark-side. The
dark emisphere of the planet emits a weak thermal IR radiation which is
visible if you use a 1 micron IR filter. Christophe Pellier, was the
first amateur astronomer to capture it, about 2 years ago.
The image, visible in the homepage of my site, looks like the moon
earthshine!:)
