short-tube 6" reflector telescope recommendations?

All,
I'm thinking of purchasing one of those 'short tube'
6" newts on an eq mount. Something for 'casual' use, and
easy enough to set up, move around.
For reference I've owned three other telescopes:
I had a 6" Dynascope several years ago, and really enjoyed
it, but the F8 tube and pier mount was way to cumbersome.
It was my all time favorite scope but was much too bulky
to set up on a 'spur of the moment' basis.
Celestron C5 for a short time. Super small, but the images were not
crisp/clear. I'm sure this was due to the 'large' secondary mirror.
I'm not impressed with very small 'schmitt cas' type scopes, so I'm
not considering them at this time.
My last scope was a Celestron c102HD on a CG4 mount, pretty good
but I still preferred the 6" scopes views, especially for fainter
objects.
Anyway,
What I'm looking into right now is either the Celestron C6N
or the Meade N-6EC/LXD75. Both are in my price range, and look to
be fairly easy to move around. I'm sure there are other small newts
in this category as well.
Does anyone have 'first hand' experience with either of these models?
Other models in the same price range?
(BTW: I'm not considering any DOB mounted newts, only eq mounted newts)
Thanks,
