Don't ask me what the "replies" you've received thus far are about. ;-)

As a quick scan will reveal, they are symptomatic of the current state
of this once fine newsgroup (when was that?)... ;-)

As for your problem, I think the most expedient thing for you to do is
simply to call Meade. I've been told that in circumstances like yours
they've been very nice about sending out replacement CDs.
