The empirical cult is just another version of the old commie principle*
that you can bulltalk people most of the time with the appropriate
American reponse of boosting a deist view against a barren and sterile
'scientific' agenda. Newton's clockwork universe was so horrific that
they created a bogus history and a cartoon universe to get rid of the
17th century creation in such a way that the early 20th century can of
worms is bigger than the original 17th century can.
Having no real roots to history beyond the empirical attempt to pin
scientific advancement through the 'primitive' Greeks,we now inherit
the worst and most dismal part of the empirical revolution - The
inability to appreceate what was involved with the Copernican
revolution.
