...to add to Pete Lawrence's ...on www.spaceweather.com NOW from Nick
King from UK shows detailed corona and earthshine in one combo
exposure. Amazing;-)
**************************
ps: sun just cleared distant trees on my eastern horizon at sunup and a
quick grap view of Ha sun in my PST when a earth satellite glides across
the view - my first - it appeared quite complex in form but
approximately triangular in shape and definately no aircraft wake! Now
to track it down!
According to www.calsky.com the ISS was in the sun's vacinity but not
in transit at the precise time [some doubt as to UT/BST?] but I'm
wondering how accurate predictions are on a low sun less than 5 degrees
above the horizon and a sat at maybe 1000 miles range - judging from
calsky ground map.
