Worst winter skies for years

How were yours? Up in my part of the country, the winter started off pretty fair then quickly went downhill. There were only maybe less than ten nights that were clear and moonless (what I need to pursue galaxy viewing). Of these ten nights, most preceded workdays and I get up at 4:55 a.m., so staying out long enough to justify setting up the 12.5 inch scope was generally out of the question. Now that I think about it, the scope was out perhaps two times for the whole season. Hoping that spring is better.
