No, I think it simpler than that.

Granite is someone who just throws crap up against
the wall and tries to see which one will stick.
The fact that he has a zero success rate will mot stop
him sadly......................

The worst part is that he said he had a college education.
which means that he got ripped off greatly, but he actually
believes that he is educated......
