Stephen Paul: Please

Greetings...

I'm trying to snag a 300D and would like your thoughts on the subject. I've
seen images that are exactly what I'm looking for from this camera---

But...is there something newer, better or???? Should I still go for a 300D?
I'd like your thoughts before I plunk $500 for a camera...

Also, which adapters did you get---just a T-ring and nose piece?
