The cruise ships are pretty well dynamicallly stabilized to keep the
passengers from getting seasick but I'd not consider any high power viewing
as the direction does keep changing on them. Anything low power will owrk
fairly well.
I'd mostly go for viewing the comet and other such things and share the
views with all of the passengers that would be wanting to view such an
object.
Also let the ship's crew know so that the other passengers will be notified
as well as getting a dark spot on the ship to do the viewing with but don't
plan on getting a really dark site as safety is also needed by the crew.
