In short, the signs of mental disorders are almost as finely defined as
those for heart disease and various cancers.
While both of these people would certainly benefit from counseling,
cognitive therapies and likely psychotropic medications, sadly they
often won't seek these out because they are incapable of recognizing
the signs for what they are.
Sadly, Canada's healthcare system has failed to tackle the mental illness
epidemic -- the system does not take psychiatric illnesses as seriously as
physical illnesses. Of the 6 Million Canadians suffering from some form
of mental illness, less than 50% actually receive help...

"The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the
rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors, so that,
in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a
fraction of a dot." - Carl Sagan, Pale Blue Dot.
Blood was spilled by the courageous and the brave and thank God this
world was noit built by effeminate thinkers who attempt to make the
Earth less special than it is.
I detest that you lot have managed to portray the great astronomers
like people who guess the structure and motion of the solar system when
their reasoning shows that they used good judgements above all else and
no proof was required.
Most teenagers could understand what Copernicus did as a point of
departure for the Keplerian/Roemerian refinements but the cruelty
imposed by the intuitively talentless with their empirical doctrine
kills the natural intuitive abilities based on judgements of motions.
The Sagans of this world offered misty visions with the same
pseudo-authority which destroys trust in the abilities of individuals
to figure things out themselves. The real astronomer knows the Earth is
special and keeps it that way as we participate in the great
astronomical cycles that make existence possible.
