Re: Check out the "Top 10 Questions"

This is all a joke, right? Do these "people" actually deny even
the possibility of a supreme being? How can they possibly know so much
and not be millions of years old? I would be greatly impressed by
their collective intellects but instead have to wonder how they cannot
realize how little they know. Perhaps some individual's quests for
knowledge are over and they now have all the answers. It certainly
appears that way. Oops, here comes another scientific update.
How ironic and fitting that the athiests will never know if
they're right, but they'll have the distinct pleasure of knowing they
were "dead" wrong.
Such a shame that they can't be helped until they realize they
have a problem and want to be helped. Almost sounds like a chemical
addiction problem.
Maybe it's just that these guys don't use the dictionary or don't
trust Mr. Webster.

To completely deny even the possibility of a being outside
our understanding is snobbery and foolishness. It's not scientific to
eliminate a possibility that as yet cannot be disproven.

But I also know it's pointless to try have a discussion with astronomy
hobbyists without launching into a flame war---so forget about it.
