A telescope with a 1,000 mm focal length is the same as a 1,000
mm telephoto lens. That is 20 times more than a normal 50 mm
lens on your Nikon FE. I think Nikon makes the viewfinders
on their SLRs so that with a 50 mm lens the view is 1:1.
