Thanks Florian for posting these. The quality is still good --- darn good those cell phone cameras !

I haven't been up there in several years, so I have a few questions.

Are you in any of the images Florian?

I noticed Meade has spread carpeting in front of their tent in addition to underneath it. When did this start happening? And is that the large R-C telescope near the center?

I notice Vixen had a booth, but I thought they didn't distribute directly in the US, only through a few dealers? Is this still true?

That was neat, the SCT mounted in the back of an SUV with a roof that partially rolls off(?). First legitimate use and reason for anyone to get an SUV in my humble opinion (^_^). But I couldn't see if jacks are placed at the car corners to stabilize it. I assume you can't actually observe visually through the telescope easily for reasons of restricted space and possible vibration problems?

They're just cell phone shots so the quality isn't great. Al Nagler was at the Tele Vue tent. I bought a laser bracket from Howie Glatter and just enjoyed wandering around looking at all the optics. Matthew Ota took a photo of a small group of 6 s.a.a members which he'll post later.
