Sounds like I didn't miss much this year, Well aside from the speakers,
shopping, and BSing with friends...

Hi Florian,
OK. When I went, I usually stayed in a place in The Village Friday and
Saturday night. I tried to drive there and back in one day, but usually
I stayed around until late into Saturday night, and that made the trip
home perilous.
It should be cold. It wasn't that warm in LA, and Big Bear is at
altitude. Everyone up there, bundle up !

By the way, I expect the skies were clear last night and will be

Hi Dave,
I didn't spend the night. Today was mostly clear with some high cirrus
now and then. Breezy. I think tonight will be cold.

It got down to 25 degrees at night. The only night that did not have
wind or clouds was Sunday night, but almost everyone had left by then.
Friday night was cloudy and extremely windy and only a few scopes
were open for business. Saturday night was cold and cloudy.
At least the moon was near new.
