Lasts twice as long when connected to a gel cell. Cheap for what you get
and it even will keep the freezer running when the power fails.

Friends:
We have just put together a detailed article about Stephen's
experiences in getting sufficient portable power to run his C-11 and
laptop for rural observing sessions. The power supply sold by
Celestron -- or equivalent rechargeable systems -- would not seem to
have sufficient capacity to run the gear for an all-night session.
No sooner had we purchased all new expensive batteries, than we
discovered a local bay area source for acceptable used ones of the
same capacity, for 1/8th the price. We provide contact links for that
source, too.
