I have some ex SF buddies who would tell you to your
face what I wrote, and then some. And these were people
doing the real dirty work personally over there.
(several who did multiple tours too)
You opinion is not the only one VN veterans have....
Matter of fact, it is in the minority of vet's I know.
(including one MOH winner)
You need to do some reading first sorry. We did win militarily
in VM, if you do the numbers, the casualty statistic alone
is way in our favor. We never lost one major engagement. We
fought with our hands tied behind our back. The air force would
have neutralized N VN very quickly, our leaders wouldnt allow
it. Think your bitter ? You havnt talked to a Thud driver I
can tell.... (I only know one personally)
We did lose VN in the press at home, and hence politically.
But militarily, we indeed kicked their ass. The people at
home grew tired of the war, but we certinaly did not lose it
on the field of battle. Our military didnt get forced out it left.
It sounds like your a true red GWB supporter, I'm NOT.
Correct, you got that right.
Unfortunately not liking bush is as far as your thinking goes.
Very sad.....
End of Line.
Easy to say for people like you. You have no answer to
the current problem, only bitterness toward anything
conservative. Just like Dean, and the other liberals.
At least they are so blinded by hate towards Bush, they will
continue to lose elections till they realize they actually
need a plan to govern the country. At about the same time, they
might also realize that most of the country does NOT like their
liberal ideals. (just look at how many states are closing the door
on gay marriage, among other things)
BTW, how many soldiers who've been to Iraq have YOU talked to ?
