The latest version of CDC offers a package of thousands of FITS images of
most every object of interest up there. As one zooms in, the FITS of the
galaxy or nebula or cluster, etc. get larger and larger. It is GREAT! Go
here to find links to download this latest version of CDC and the FITS
catalog (labeled "Pictures" in the list of downloadable files:

If you have any questions about how to upload and activate the FITS
catalog into this latest version of Cartes du Ciel, I will be glad to
