Takahashi scopes are available more or less off the shelf. The other two
have long waiting lists. You might also want to check out TMB and Televue -
although I don't think Televue do a 6" refractor? I suspect the long lead
times for TEC & AP are largely because they are Ma & Pa type family
businesses that have quite limited production capacity combined with high
