There seems to be no indication of this on the S&T website, they are
still taking subs for NightSky. Where did the rumour that Steve O'Meara
going to Astronomy come from? There does not seem to be much about that
either....

A couple weeks back, I received a letter from Dave Eicher indicating
that Steve O'Meara would be writing for Astronomy beginning in 2007.
Unless it was a good example of forgery, it appears to be true.

I recently renewed my subscription to both S&T and Astronomy Magazine for three years. For the latter, I received a letter from David Eicher thanking me for my support and he mentioned in passing that starting with the March/2007 issue, James O'Meara will have a monthly column in the magazine.

Does anyone know which five individuals will no longer be with S&T? It is sad seeing names that one recognizes and associates with no longer being with the magazine. This was the case earlier this year with Photo Editor Imelda Joson.
