Curtis,

you see the problem here : "very good" is a subjective term; just as
"likely to get unnoticed in normal use". What is very good for someone
will be merely acceptable for someone else. We all have different
standards and expectations. The MEASUREMENTS on the other hand are
impersonal hard facts; no interpretation required, we don't have to
read inbetween lines.
That is why I am so enthusiastic about French page. And that is why I
am even more dissappointed by Sky and Telescope (who aspires to be a
leading publication) and their vague testing methodology.
I like S&T, I've been a subscriber for almost 30 years. I reserve right
to be critical of them :-)
