I'm going to have a look at the EP's you've suggested - I just want one
that
will give me a little more without having to use my Barlow, which I
believe
can decrease the clarity of vision (?).

I think it highly unlikely that your Barlow, if of decent quality, will
significantly "decrease the clarity of vision".
