It's quite possible. However, fairly often, the questions Sitav asks
are worthy of response.

Sock puppet, actually, as I've said before...

It seems you missed Brian's point entirely.

This is exactly why I disagree with Rod about why Usenet sucks. It's not
the nuts, it's the trolls who destroy a community like this. Because with
people hiding behind aliases, saying things just to get a reaction,
pretending to be something they are not, where does that leave us? Not
trusting anything or anyone?

I agree with Brian. Even if this is a lame male 40-something jerk with
too much time on his hands, we have no way of of knowing one way or the
other. So if these questions aren't worthy, then which questions are
then? Hmm?

To reply take out your eye

Brian, you, and I have every *right* to respond to trolls or sock puppets.
And to rationalize doing so because the question may be one worth answering,
in case someone who may benefit from the answer may be watching...

However, since ANY response to a troll or sock puppet is feeding their ego
(no doubt including my messages here), and thus playing into their hands, I
suggest folk NOT respond.

Because I suggest not responding doesn't mean folks CAN'T respond. It's
just me using my right to state my case, the same as you or Brian have the
right to state yours... You're free to speak your mind, and the audience to
listen, even though it's not what *I* would prefer...
